Project: ecological assessment of Okeltor metalliferous
mine site, Tamar Valley Client: Cornwall County Council
Extended Phase I and botanical survey of a derelict mine site
on the banks of the Tamar River. Specialist surveys were also
undertaken for mosses and liverworts, mammals, reptiles and amphibians
and birds.
Project: badger survey of Dean Quarry, Lizard Client: RMC aggregates
A bait-marking survey to establish territory boundaries of a resident
badger group with a view to the construction of an artificial
badger sett.
Project: badger, bat and bryophyte surveys of United Mines
landfill site in west Cornwall Client: County Environmental Services (CES) Survey of the shafts using the single rope technique to assess
importance as bat roost sites prior to possible capping and
infilling
of the site with waste material. Surrounding mine spoil surveyed
for bryophyte populations of conservation importance and surrounding
land surveyed for presence of badger setts.

Downs, West Penwith Client: Cornwall Wildlife Trust Phase I habitat and Phase II botanical survey of a dry heathland
site (Wildlife Trust reserve) using NVC methodology.
Project: ecological surveys at Trevose Golf Course, St Merryn
Client: Trevose Golf and Country Club Phase I habitat, river habitat and water vole surveys of terrestrial
and aquatic habitats within the stream corridor in relation to
the impacts of constructing two reservoirs on the golf course.
