Cornwall Environmental Consultants (CEC) Ltd can provide both ecological and landscape architectural services for your project; whether it be a windfarm, infrastructure project, housing development, barn conversion or a luxury hotel complex, we can help you to minimise impacts on the natural environment and advise on innovative solutions to reduce the ecological footprint of proposals, including wildlife mitigation, native planting schemes and sustainable design.

CEC Ecology work includes wildlife surveys such as, bat & barn owl surveys, nesting bird & breeding bird surveys, dormouse surveys, otter surveys and badger surveys. CEC also provides European Protected Species (EPS) Licensing, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Desk Top Studies and Habitat Restoration & Monitoring, Watching Briefs, Farm Environmental Plans (FEP), BREEAM Assessments, Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) and plant surveys.

CEC Landscape offers services such as Landscape Design, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), Masterplanning, Project Management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Sustainable Design, Design and Access Statements (DAS), Landscape Detailing and Garden Design. Work is undertaken in accordance with guidelines provided by the Landscape Institute.

CEC also offer mapping/GIS services (using ArcGIS) and can undertake Community Consultation and Training.
